If you choose without a slit, the chosen waist size will be when 4 snap buttons are fastened. Releasing one, the skirt will be still without a slit, and the waist will be 4 cm wider.
If you choose with a slit, the chosen waist size will be when 2 snap buttons are fastened. We sew skirt with 3 snap buttons, so you can wear the skirt with all 3 fastened - then the waist size will be 4 cm smaller than you chose and the skirt will be without a slit.

Sewing takes 5-12 b.d.
